Heritage Store Rosewater
This is one of the most simple and amazing products I’ve discovered this year. I use this pure rosewater mist to refresh my makeup throughout the day and cool down when I’m out and about.
Ardell #305 Lashes
The #305s are easily my favorite half lashes I’ve ever tried. They’re cheap and super easy to apply… I just don’t reach for them a whole lot. Just give me the right occasion to wear them to!
Yes To Carrots Lip Butter in Melon
While I like these lip butters, I absolutely despise the scent and taste of melon. I much prefer the mint version from the same line. This is an easy natural substitute for Chapstick, so I recommend it if you’re looking to eliminate unnecessary chemicals in your everyday lip balm.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Shell
This product made an appearance in my recent Products Not Worth The Hype post because it wasn’t suitable for my skin type, which is oily to combination. In fact, I’ve heard people with dry skin don’t like this foundation as well because it leaves them feeling greasy. I didn’t like it because of the lack of coverage, oily texture, and short wear time. Definitely a pass!
NYX Cream Blushes
Also mentioned in the Products Not Worth The Hype post are these NYX cream blushes, and I’ve decided to toss them or pass them on to my sister. They sadly broke me out, so I’m just sticking with powder from now on.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
If you ever finish a bottle of this before it thickens too much to use, then I applaud you. But then again, you might be an actual manicurist at a salon. I love this top coat because it’s super glossy and it dries super quick. I’ve since tried a new top coat that I’m liking so far, so Seche Vite has to step aside for a bit.
Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation in Warm 2
This is the best pressed powder foundation I’ve ever tried. It has serious coverage and is all natural! Since it is so pricey, I’m in no rush to go out and buy it again, but I will certainly buy this again at some point down the road.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer in Radiant
This product is no stranger to my makeup routine. This is a pink tinted concealer that is great for color correcting undereye dark circles. I layer this under MAC’s Pro LongWear Concealer and it works wonders!
Benefit Smoooch Lip Balm
This lip balm sat forgotten in my nightstand for far too long and it has since expired. This is a nice plush lip balm that you apply with a doefoot applicator wand. It’s nice, but not my absolute favorite.
Q-Tips Cotton Swabs
I hardly ever go through a box of these since I buy them in bulk and never seem to run out. In my opinion, no generic alternatives are a match for the real deal Q-Tips. You’re better off sticking with the original.
Up & Up Acetone Nail Polish Remover
While I haven’t yet found my “holy grail” favorite nail polish remover, this one works pretty well and is super cheap.
Listerine Vibrant White Pre-Brush Rinse
I can honestly say this is the only tooth whitening product that works and gives me no sensitivity. When used everyday consistently, it’ll significantly whiten your teeth, but when you stop using it, they’ll totally revert back to their original state. This works better than any whitening toothpaste I’ve tried!
Yes To Carrots Nourishing Body Wash
While I liked this body wash, it didn’t knock my socks off. It had a nice light carrot fragrance and lathered nicely, I just had to use a lot of it. I think I might prefer the grapefruit version since I’m a huge fan of citrus scents.
Oral-B Scope Outlast Floss Picks
You know you’re lazy when you buy floss picks, but hey, it’s better than not flossing at all. These floss picks are quick and easy, so I’ll continue to use them as long as there are 24 hours in the day.
Trader Joe’s French Liquid Soap in Orange Blossom Honey
This is my new favorite hand soap since it’s sulfate-free, smells amazing, and is super accessible.
Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes
These wipes smelled incredible, but burned my eyes like crazy. Not only that, but they were poor at removing eyeliner and mascara, and I don’t wear anything that’s waterproof or finicky to get off. I wanted to love these since they are natural and paraben-free, but sadly they were a huge miss.
Pacifica Body Butter in Tuscan Blood Orange
This is a brilliant body butter that smells delectable and hydrates incredibly. It needs a little time to sink in, but it’ll leave your limbs and body feeling so silky smooth. I adore that it’s paraben-free and 100% vegan.
Supre Hempz Mint Chocolate Cocoa
I scored this product at Marshall’s for around $3 and it was a total steal. This body lotion is slightly thinner than Pacifica’s Body Butter, and it did a great job at moisturizing my body. The only issue is that I got sick of the overly sweet scent towards the end of it.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush
This item might be my most blogged about and most mentioned item… it’s really the best out there! If you haven’t yet tried this product, you need to! It’s the best dry shampoo out there.
TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo
This was the first dry shampoo I ever tried, so I thought it was about time for a revisit. Batiste is my current and long-standing favorite, and Rockaholic really just doesn’t cut close. It’s not as potent as Batiste, so it’s much less effective at soaking up oil on my scalp. It’s just too pricey to be mediocre, so I’ll just stick with Batiste.
Up & Up Smoothing Shave Gel with Soy
This shave gel makes an appearance in a lot of my empties posts and haul videos, so obviously it’s a shower staple. I find this shave gel to be the nicest smelling and most nourishing I’ve tried. You can find it only in store at Target, so good luck tracking it down since it’s often sold out.
LUSH Whoosh Shower Jelly
This is a product I didn’t really get, but I got it in a gift set so I thought I’d try it until finished. Whoosh is the consistency of jello and smells like a grapefruit margarita. If you use this with anything besides a loofa, it’ll go to waste and just wash down the drain. When suds up with a loofa, it gives a really nice, dense lather that feels fantastic. I tend to just prefer body wash, so I wouldn’t go out of my way to try this again.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Plus Keratin
This is a hair care product I simply cannot live without. It detangles, protects from heat styling, eliminates frizz, and adds shine among many other things. While it’s pricey, a bottle lasts me quite a while so it’s totally worth the price tag. Give this product a try if you have troublesome hair!
Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor
This is a highly blogged about item, but I just didn’t see the craze. I wasn’t a fan of the scent and I don’t think it did anything amazing to my hair. It was only alright.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser
This is my new favorite cleanser since it helps combat acne without over-drying my skin. The gel lathers very well with my Clarisonic Mia and I don’t see myself using any other cleanser for a while.
Shea Terra Organics Rose Hips Black Soap Deep Pore Facial Cleanser
This is a crazy effective cleanser that sinks down deep into your pores and helps clear them out. The formula sadly separated a lot, but I wasn’t too upset since this is a totally natural product. I would consider buying it again.
Beauty Treats Strawberry Yogurt Sheet Mask
Sheet masks are one of my favorite at-home spa treatments that really put me in a relaxed mood. This mask left my skin hydrated and balanced, but I’m not wild about it enough to go out and buy it again. It was nice, but I’d ideally love to find a paraben-free option.
And that’s a wrap! I know this was a long one, so I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and read this post. Do you ever get obsessed about finishing up products you’ve bought? It might only be me, but I’m pretty excited to work through my stash and consolidate my collection so it’ll be a bit easier to move next month. Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what you thought of them in a comment!
