IMATS LA 2013

Heart ItTwo weeks ago I attended the annual International Makeup Artist Trade Show in Pasadena; my first big shopping occasion of the year. IMATS is not just any trade show – it’s something that both industry and general consumers can attend. Brands, makeup artists, bloggers, and beauty enthusiasts from around the world attend this show every year, and the experience is absolutely wild. Not to mention, brands are there selling their products at 10-40% off retail prices, so the savings alone often justify the cost of attending. Brands like MAC, Stila, Inglot, Eve Pearl, Sigma Beauty, Crown Brush, BH Cosmetics, and tons more are there welcoming you to try out their products, get made over, and shop. This was my second year attending the event and I had an incredible time. I road tripped down to LA with my sister Caitlin and her best friend Lindy, and we’ve pretty much decided this is going to be a tradition. We decided to drive over taking a flight since we usually buy too much stuff to fit in our luggage, and this trip was no different. Here are just some of the pictures from the trip; I met several of my favorite beauty bloggers and vloggers just as I did in 2012.
