Dress: H&M | Bag: H&M | Watch: Apple | Lips: Shades by Shan | Hair Clip: Walmart
Let’s style some animal print for the holidays! I love to reach for zebra (and leopard!) print this time of year kind of like I would with sequins or faux fur. It packs a punch IRL and looks great in photos! Something about the classic black and white contrast of zebra print seamlessly works with holiday-esque settings because the colors don’t clash with decorations. I wore this mini dress on my recent winter girls trip and it got so many compliments. Let’s quickly talk about it!
Now I picked up both this zebra print slip dress and faux fur bag in Boston a few weeks ago, but sadly neither item is available right now on the H&M US site. I have however linked up a bunch of similar options should you want to replicate this outfit this holiday season. H&M carries a longer version of this zebra slip dress online currently. They also offer this exact strappy mini slip dress in solid colors at the moment. Here are some pieces to shop to recreate this fun holiday look with a trendy twist.
Zebra Print Slip Dress
Black Faux Fur Mini Bag
Black Mules
Matte Red Lipstick
When I wear a bold print piece like this, I tend to style it with solid colors and classic shapes. Things like black mule heels for shoes. Or a classic red lip for makeup. I want this look to scream holiday, not LMFAO Party Rock Anthem circa 2011! For accessories, I also kept it simple with this mini bag in a soft faux fur material. I tend to call it my “Gen Z” bag since it looks trendy and fun, but it’s in an understated color option I can actually wear over and over again. In the winter, this fuzzy bag can also double up as a hand warmer. Finally, I added a blingy clip in my hair to complete the look. It’s hardly visible in the photos, but it’s there!
