How are you getting in the Halloween spirit? I’ve already got The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus on replay, all pumpkin everything happening in the kitchen, and spooky decor on the brain. But it’s time to start actually thinking about what to wear on Halloween.
I recently collaborated with Mode to show you one of three easy DIY costumes. Most of us have an old hoodie lying around that’s just perfect for this. There’s even no sewing involved!
Check out the video below staring yours truly and two fellow amazing San Francisco bloggers, Elise & Nichole!
So, who wore it better: me or Left Shark?
Need more Halloween inspiration? Don’t miss my last DIY costume when I was Daria a few years back, which I created entirely for free. Not much time to assemble an entire outfit? Then check out my Death Star dress that’ll put you in the spirit of the dark side.

I love this idea, so simple and cute! I’ve seen stuff like this for kids, but never would have thought to make one for myself, but I love it!!
Such an easy and fun idea!! And I always like homemade costumes better than store bought.
I love this costume! Is it weird that I would wear it all year round? lol
Omg I love these three!! Super easy too.
Left Shark has got nothing on you! I happen to have a similar hoodie. I am more than down to rock this. Felt is super cheap and I’ve got a glue gun ready.
How cute!!
Super simple but so fun! I already have a costume but will remember this for next year.
So fun! Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus are my favorite Halloween movies!
