It has been several months since my last beauty favorites round-up, so this is much overdue. Lately I’ve been loving a dark nude or bright red lip, flawless skin, and minimal neutral eyeshadow. I can pull together a look quite quickly with these products, and easily amp up my makeup from day to night with extra lashes, blush, or highlighter. Keeping things simple was the name of the game this October.
Watch the video below and scroll ahead to read about what I’ve been loving in the beauty world as of late.
Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Fawn (c/o)
My new favorite mauve nude shade! Burberry’s Liquid Lip Velvet formula is also very comfortable, a refreshing take on typically drying liquid lipsticks. You don’t have to sacrifice color for comfort here.
Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Bawse (c/o)
This is my new go-to red. It’s universally flattering, longwearing, and absolutely pigmented. This color was released initially as a collaboration with Lilly Singh, one of my all time favorite YouTubers.
Pacifica Lip Balm in Cuban Mango (c/o)
Mango lovers, you have to try this lip balm! It’s smooth, creamy, and so satisfying to apply. The formula is also vegan and cruelty-free!
Jouer Anti-Aging Moisture Primer (c/o)
When it comes to primers, there are few I recommend in my favorites. Lately, this primer has been a true standout. My skin gets an extra shot of hydration from this primer, without overloading my oily patches with moisture. This primer is packed with all sorts of skin-loving ingredients and zero silicone.
Smashbox Covershot Matte Eye Palette (c/o)
It’s slim, compact, and all matte! This neutral matte palette has your basic cream, black, and mid-tone brown shades, plus a dusty pink and plum to switch things up with. The shadows are decently pigmented and you can achieve both day and evening looks with ease. When I travel, this the only palette I pack in my travel beauty bag.
