Earlier this year I revealed and reviewed my PS1, and I’m excited to share that it has a new satchel pal; her name is Pashli. While you can read more about her debut on the blog in my Hello Pashli post, I wanted to also bring you a review video that covers her top to bottom. While there are dozens of color, texture, and size combos to choose from, I’m glad I went with the colorblock large version. It’s practical for everyday life yet still has a fun twist.
As I noted in the video, this bag has been on my wish list for a long time now. I even wrote about it as the perfect boardroom-to-drinks bag back in 2012 on my old blog OMGbuymeTHIS. However, I didn’t foresee buying the bag so close to my PS1 purchase, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale had an offer I couldn’t refuse.
If you need a structured handbag for work, travel, or busy day-to-day life, this is a perfect bag for you. It can fit my 13″ MacBook Air + sleeve horizontally with ease, and the handles don’t buckle under the weight. With my other everyday essentials tossed in the mix too, that is no easy feat! This bag can seriously hold a ton, and still maintain its shape.
Some cons to this particular colorblock Pashli include the soft white leather flap. It’s more fragile than the pebbled leather found everywhere else on the bag, and can be easily scratched with jewelry or even fingernails. Additionally, the hardware clasp is difficult to close and easy to scratch if you aren’t careful. My bag now has a few small flaws due to user error, but nothing major.
Just a recommendation if you use this bag, be sure organize your purse contents into smaller pouches so they don’t get lost inside this huge bag. Forever 21 and MUJI make super affordable options, but if you want to splurge then maybe look to Louis Vuitton and Coach.
All in all, I am extremely in love with my purchase, and I totally understand the hype!

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Love the color blocking + the structure, and the drop on the bag is perfect!

Thanks Ashley! It’s definitely my ‘large and in charge’ boss lady power bag.
Ahh I love the color blocking choice! I just saw the metallic mini’s at Barney’s and I want one so bad. I have the Target collab version and use it so much, may have to splurge 🙂

Hey Ali, I am also a HUGE fan of the metallic and oil slick minis. I wasn’t fast enough to get a Pashli in the Target collab, but I am so jealous you did! It’s such a practical bag… having multiple color options is definitely acceptable in my book!
