Dress: L.K. Bennett via Rent The Runway | Bag: Dior | Sunglasses: Amazon | Watch: Apple | Lips: Bite
What if I told you there was a way to shop less but get higher quality pieces? After hearing so many of my friends rave about Rent The Runway Unlimited, I finally tried it and unsurprisingly, I’m hooked.
Rent The Runway Unlimited is a monthly subscription where you have access to unlimited pieces per month with 4 simultaneous rentals at a time. While the service has been immensely helpful as a blogger having access to new items to shoot content in, I would have loved this service too when I was working in an office everyday.
Minimalism is a topic I’ve grown more passionate about recently. I shop less now that a few years ago because I want to spend less and be more environmentally conscious. I also live in a one bedroom apartment, so I need to be mindful of my closet space. Rent The Runway Unlimited allows me to still express myself through fashion, while test driving higher end brands, and passing on the piece when I’m ready to try something new. So far I’ve only rented dresses and tops, but there are tons of coats, trousers, shoes, and other accessories to choose from. They carry some of my favorite designer brands also, like Proenza Schouler, 3.1 Phillip Lim, The Kooples, and more.
Both shipping and dry cleaning are covered in the service. San Francisco even has a shop to make try-ons, rentals, and returns an in-person experience if that’s something you prefer.
Here are some of my favorite looks I’ve styled with Rent The Runway Unlimited pieces lately.
Dress: A.L.C. via Rent The Runway | Bag: Dior | Booties: Acne | Sunglasses: Amazon | Watch: Apple
This was an incredible dress from a fabric, print, and silhouette perspective. I loved the floaty sleeves and asymmetrical hem. It was also super flattering as a busty person.
Dress: Equipment via Rent The Runway | Bag: Dior | Mules: BP | Sunglasses: Amazon | Watch: Apple
If you enjoy Equipment silk blouses, you have to try one of their silk dresses. This one looks lovely layered with blazers, denim jackets, and even leather jackets.
Dress: Derek Lam 10 Crosby via Rent The Runway | Booties: Sam & Libby | Sunglasses: Amazon
For special events, Rent The Runway Unlimited is perfect. The stylist at the SF store helped me pick out this piece around the theme of wine tasting, but I ended up wearing it for so much more! I love the print, lace, and drawstring details on this boho dress. It has great movement to it, as well.
Curious to try RTR for yourself? Join with my link and save $30 on your first rental, or score $99 for your first month of Unlimited versus the usual price of $159/month.
So so so cute! I love that floral dress – the color is perfect for fall. I’ve got to check out RTR!
Cute dresses! I’ve heard of Rent the Runway, but haven’t tried them. But I like the idea of having new pieces for photos. Great idea and way better on the wallet. I will have to check it out.
I’ve used Rent the Runway in the past, and it’s definitely been nice to have a rotating wardrobe every month! I don’t usually keep my subscription year-round, but it’s definitely a great way to indulge in luxury fashion without the high cost.
Those dresses are so cute! I didn’t realize they had day wear. I’m trying them for the first time next month for a black tie ball!!!!
Oooooh….. this could be fun. Is there a certain length of time you’re allowed to rent for?
