By now you’ve probably heard about last month’s blogger open house at SkinSpirit in Mill Valley, because I’ve been tweeting about it non stop. And this post brings fabulous news; the lovely people at SkinSpirit have provided a $100 gift certificate for one of my lucky blog readers!

Just a few weeks after the event, I came back solo for a treatment. I recently had my first ever microdermabrasion appointment with Morgan and I’m loving the results. As someone who usually has a three day flaky skin hangover after a normal facial or peel, the microderm left me glowing and already feeling a lot more even in texture. On day two and three, I had a few blemishes surface, but they were so small and painless, I figured this was part of the ‘purging’ phase since microderm helps pull impurities and toxins deep from pores. I’m on day eight now and the few blemishes have diminished and my overall skin tone and texture is significantly more even. I think my timing was perfect because I’m ready for holiday parties and Thanksgiving feasts galore with my refreshed complexion. After all the seasonal craziness dies down, I already have my follow-up facial appointment booked for early February.
