Starting the Holidays with Shutterfly

Once November hits, the holidays are essentially here. My first holiday party of the season was a fun one spent with Shutterfly at the incredible Brit + Co MakeShop. Shutterfly treated several bloggers and I to some customized photo gifts and a fun wrapping party. Each station around the U-shaped classroom was set with our gifts, DIY tools, and probably more X-Acto knives and spray adhesive than I can be trusted with. Led by the crafting experts at MakeShop, even this clumsy girl made it out alive without any accidents. We made clocks, tassels, and other awesome crafty things.

Of all the gifts, my favorite  was the 5×5″ customized acrylic block. I’m kind of jealous that I have to give it away! And the ordering process was super simple. If you don’t have stockpile of high quality photos readily available, you can import your Instagram photos directly into Shutterfly in seconds. Since Instagram photos are already in a square crop, the image placement will be perfect for this product. This block will look so cute as decor on your dresser, mantle, or nightstand, or even as a paperweight. I hope the boyfriend likes it!
