June flew by while I was super busy with work and my social life. There are no dog days of summer around here. June kicks off a busy summer season of birthdays, concerts, parties, and hopefully several weekend getaways that continues through July and August. Like I mentioned in my Work Week Essentials post, I’ve been sticking to the basics recently out of a lack of time for exploration, but I have found some new favorites I see myself using for a long time to come. I also discovered two new paraben-free goodies at my local natural grocery store that I want to tell the world about. I’ve also been loving ‘no fuss’ makeup that just goes with everything.
Heritage Store Rosewater
This mist replaces my prior month’s favorite makeup mist, because it actually helps mattify my skin! It’s all natural, smells amazing, and delivers an amazing fine mist. It’s so refreshing on a hot day and you’ll never be plagued by a ‘cake face’ of powdery makeup again. I want to get another bottle to keep with me at work. I found this at my local natural grocery store, Rainbow Grocery.
Humphreys Witch Hazel Astringent
This is an amazing pure witch hazel which is surprisingly gentle. I use it as a toner immediately after I cleanse my face and before I put on moisturizer. It makes me feel squeaky clean without over drying my skin. Also, I can easily find this at my local natural grocery store which is super convenient.
CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in Buff Beige 825
This foundation totally caught me by surprise; there aren’t many CoverGirl products that have impressed me in the past. This is a medium to full coverage foundation that looks great and wears long. For something so long-wearing, it is fairly lightweight feeling. Buff Beige is a fantastic shade for me since it has a yellow undertone that helps counteract the redness in my actual skin.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer in Radiant
I use this product to help brighten my undereyes. It has a hint of pink that helps color correct the blue and purple tones in my undereye circles. I apply just a little bit, gently blend and dab it out, and then apply my MAC Pro Longwear concealer on top. This is my secret to looking more alert and awake! And it’s also a cheaper alternative to MAC’s Prep + Prime Highlighter.
Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in 26 Voluptuous Nude
This month I’ve been reaching for this lipstick more often than any other. This is a beautiful pinky nude lipstick that just goes with everything. The formula is wonderful and never leaves you dried out.
What products were you reaching for most in June? I do these product round-ups every month, so be sure to read my posts for May, April, and so on.

Great picks, I love that foundation but I think it may be clogging my pores. I have to give it another try.

Fingers crossed I don’t have that reaction — my skin is pretty sensitive! Maybe a primer or thinner application might help? Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Going to go browse through your blog now! 🙂
