Here we are again with my monthly favorites! In March I spent some time in Tahoe and Sonoma, but I also suffered from a skin SOS. I developed a large stretch of eczema across my face and neck, which was both uncomfortable and embarrassing. In March I reached for easy beauty products and gentle skin care treatments that wouldn’t exacerbate the situation. I haven’t yet cured the eczema, but I’ll probably have more healing skin care items to share next month.
Watch the video below and scroll ahead to read more of my thoughts on the products mentioned.
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ in Fair (c/o)
This has been my go-to foundation during my recent eczema outbreak. The coverage is impressive, it feels great on the skin, and the SPF is top notch. Interestingly enough, this product is made in Korea so it’s no surprise it stands up to the other amazing Korean BB/CC creams I’ve tried. I was really trying to avoid getting extra sun damage on the flaky eczema patches.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder (c/o)
Loose powders can be a bit scary, but this one is pretty hard to mess up. It’s fine, translucent, and instantly mattifies the skin on contact. It softens the look of texture and literally erases your pores, without feeling heavy on the skin.
Natasha Denona Blush Duo in #9
This was one of my best splurges from IMATS. The duo includes a shimmery champagne highlight and a matte terracotta peach. Combined they give a real healthy glow to the skin, which works well with so many different eye and lip looks.
Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Lip in #10 (c/o)
If you’re looking for the perfect purse lipstick, this might just be it. The color is a deep rosy pink, and there’s a built-in highlight powder to make your lips pop. The formula is creamy and is extremely comfortable on the lips. I’m wearing this shade in the video if you’d like to see it in action.
Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Brow in #30 (c/o)
Again, another product I’m wearing in the video. This is a 3-in-1 brow pencil that includes a spoolie and highlight powder. The packaging is sleek, innovative, and perfect for travel. It closely rivals my favorite Hourglass Arch Brow!
Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Face Palette in #20 (c/o)
For a completely fool-proof cream contour palette, look no further than this item. Available in four different color schemes, you get a blush, shimmery highlight, contour, and matte highlight cream all in one package. The formula is light on the skin and it blends effortlessly with your fingertips.
Yes To Coconuts Cooling Lip Oil
If you love the look of lip gloss, but hate the texture of it, this product is for you. It smells incredible, looks fantastic, and feels delightfully cooling on the lips.
Aesop Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque
As an avid mask user, this is a solid addition to my collection. It’s a clay mask packed with nourishing fruit and herb oils, extracts, and essences. It’s detoxifying, without stripping the skin. I typically apply this focused around my nose, and this allowed me to avoid my eczema while still treating the oily, congested areas of my face. Also, a little bit goes a long way!
What have you been loving recently? I’d love to know some of your monthly favorites. Also if you have any eczema remedies, please let me know.
